AI Powered Research Assistant (Concept)
The Research assistant is a tool that Utilizes AI to create, organize, and catalog research and documents. Users can search for specific documents and research concepts and the AI will also generate answers to questions that the user asks.
The Problem
Research is the back bone of any good product, but the problem is research usually dies on a random hard drive or hidden away on a Sharepoint. This is often because in larger organizations research is done for a specific project in a silo. When there isn’t a common place for research to be stored and accessed, valuable insights and efforts are thrown away.
The Opportunity
The goal is to create a system that can translate, read and listen to different types of media to create a research glossary or library that allows the user to easily jump start projects by simple inquiries to the assistant. By translating uploaded documents and files, the assistant creates a searchable database that is maintained by AI.
How we use AI
We will use clustering and deep learning combined with speech to text and natural language processing on top of a large language model to start to build out the database of research. With this we will be able to create a system that understands what each piece of data is talking about and build a general understanding of what the research is saying. Other responsibilities include;
Grouping like research and data.
Building a point of view on what the research is saying.
Offering alternative points of view based on the users rating of the results.
High level overviews to users questions (example: asking about specific pain points for users.)
